We had a great 4th of July this year, with a surprise visit from Ken and Stefanie! They called us Saturday afternoon and asked if they could come visit and we were thrilled! On the 4th we went to church which was held at a outside at a park and luckily the weather was great in the morning for that! Then Toby was "dying" to go the the fireworks booth. He had some birthday money from Aunt Katie and Uncle Kevin and he NEEDED to spend it! He bought smoke bombs and some spinners. Of course when we got home he had to light them all up right away...he couldn't wait until dark...so thanks Johnson family for that fun!
We bar-b-qued some hamburgers and corn and had a relaxing afternoon...then about 7:30 we headed over to Elk Grove Park for some fireworks. We walked around for a little bit and fed the ducks. There is a whole lot of pictures because I finally got some good ones, so hope you are not too bored by looking at them all.

While sitting on the rock Toby lost his flip flop in the "oh, so lovely" lake water so Drew had to fish it out!
