Slaying the Pumpkins

We had grown several baking pumpkins this year plus Nana & Grandpa had bought Toby & Paige each a small pumpkin so I decided to make some pumpkin soup.

Here's the pretty little pumpkin.

Here's the not-so-pretty chopped up pumpkin.Here's the blending of the pumpkin soup. (Once again ear protection needed for all loud noises, he will be so embarrassed by these pictures when he is a teenager!).

I forgot to take a picture of the final product, but with a little sour cream and crumbled bacon on top it was delicous!
