We have a long list of house project to get done this summer and Drew has jumped right into getting them done. He made raised garden bed for all of our summer vegetables. We planted 7 tomato plants, 1 zuccinni, 1 cucumber, 2 bellpeppers, 1 jalapeno, 2 different kinds of pumpkins, watermelon and corn. Hopefully we will be eating well this year.
He tackled the garage next and ripped out an old workbench that wasn't very efficient. He has built new garage cabinets but is still working on the doors. I'll put up "after" photos when he is done.
We also decided to pull out the ugly shrubs in front of our house and pour a concrete patio there instead. We're waiting to pour the concrete because he is also going to pour a sidewalk in the backyard so we need to set that up first. I can't wait to have the porch done, I want to put some chairs out so I can hang out with the kids and neighbors in our front yard for a change!
He has been working hard, we are thankful for his teaching job and all that it provides including great vacation time!
